BIG ANNOUNCEMENT! NEW EBOOK – Let Love In 101; A Practical Guide to Love & Happiness

11 Feb BIG ANNOUNCEMENT! NEW EBOOK – Let Love In 101; A Practical Guide to Love & Happiness

I am SO EXCITED to finally be able to announce this!

{Especially considering I went through school claiming “I hated writing” and up until just a couple of years ago, I knew nothing about writing a blog, let alone did I ever think I’d be writing an e-book!}

This e-book has been in the making for a long time, and I’ve hinted about it several times on many of my social media sites, but I didn’t want to give too much away since I had no idea when the release date would be. So it is AWESOMELY EXHILERATING to finally get to talk about it openly!

The release date is TODAY! And as my Valentine’s Day gift to you, it will be free on Amazon until the day after Valentine’s Day!)

After losing my dad to suicide when I was fifteen years old, I became lost and disconnected from who I was. On the outside, I appeared to have it all together, but on the inside, a piece of me died with my dad on that one fateful day of May 22, 1992. I felt such a void in my heart, so many unanswered questions, so much confusion. and so much pain.

My dad didn’t leave a suicide note, and although my mom gave me all the love, support and answers to the zillion questions I asked over the years, there were many, she simply didn’t have the answers to; leaving me to fill in the blanks on my own.  From the eyes of a distraught fifteen year old girl, you could imagine the answers and the stories I began to carry with me in the wake of his suicide.

As I made my journey through many personal heartbreaks, pain, and misery, I wanted to find inner peace, happiness and this thing called “self-love”. I wished I could push some kind of magic button to make my life all better.

Along the way, my mom and close family friends would tell me I needed “to love myself”, I needed “self-love”.  I knew I had no idea how to love myself because I had no clue what it meant and I most certainly didn’t have any idea as to how to apply “self-love” into my life; it became obvious I wasn’t the only one either.

I hoped the answers would one day be revealed to me.

Nineteen years into my long and windy road of searching for answers, I became desperate to find ways to improve my life.

At the time, I was raising two boys as a single mom; I was financially unstable and working over sixty hours a week in a career that no longer made me happy. My romantic and non-romantic relationships were in disarray; I felt alone, frustrated, unfulfilled, exhausted and utterly overwhelmed.

I soon discovered there was no such thing as a “magic button”, or one particular thing that would help me turn my life around and find true happiness; instead, there were many principles (revelations, in fact) that I came to call tools in my “toolbox”.  When I began applying the principles I discuss in the book, my entire life improved; my health, my relationships, my career and even my finances. I quit smoking, I made a mends with the difficult people of my past, I discovered my life purpose (empowering others through coaching and writing), I felt my corporate job and started my own coaching practice, and I even reconnected with my soul-mate.

As a result, my life became way less chaotic, I began to really appreciate my life more, (including the challenging times) and those around me, my kids have benefited in countless ways and I began having much more fun much, leaving me feeling more fulfilled and a whole lot more loving.

At the end of the day, I just wanted simple, easy, and — most importantly of all — practical ways to improve my life. I didn’t want to have to sit and meditate for hours on end; and I didn’t want to chant these weird chants while standing on one foot either. I just wanted easy-to-apply steps that I could easily incorporate into my daily routine.

This is what this book is all about, the process and journey I went through to become more loving of myself and others, using simple techniques that require a minimal amount of time and effort, and without sacrificing effectiveness.

Whether you’re single, married, divorced, widowed, newly dating, young or old, these principles can be applied to you and to all areas of your life; love, career, health & even finances.
